Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Grady County Busted Mugshots receives when people use its pages, search tools, or contact routes, how that information is used, and when it may be shared. By using the resource, a visitor accepts these practices. Government and outside pages linked from here have their own policies.

Information Sent Directly

Search requests

A name, location, or other term entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that operates that widget. Grady County Busted Mugshots does not store or keep a log of those search terms on its own servers.

Messages

An email or contact message is kept long enough to read, respond, and maintain a basic communication record. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is needed to comply with a valid legal demand or to protect the service.

Technical Data and Cookies

Like most web services, a page load can produce basic technical information.

  • Internet Protocol address.
  • Browser name and version.
  • Device type and operating system.
  • Pages viewed and time spent on each page.
  • The referring page, when a browser supplies one.
  • Request timestamps.

Cookie use

Cookies may help understand how visitors use the resource and whether basic features work. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some functions may behave differently when they are disabled.

How Information Is Used

Collected information is used for ordinary service operations.

  • Keep pages available, secure, and responsive.
  • Send a search request to the appropriate outside search partner.
  • See which pages are useful and where visitors encounter problems.
  • Diagnose errors, abuse, and technical failures.
  • Show advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests.

The information is not used to create an official Grady County record. Public-record requests must go to the agency that holds the record.

Links Leaving This Resource

Pages link to Sheriff Martin “Earl” Prince’s office, the Grady County Detention Facility contact route, police departments, the Georgia court e-access route, the Georgia Department of Corrections, federal locators, news outlets, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy policy and data practices apply. Grady County Busted Mugshots does not control the destination’s content, security, cookies, or retention.

Advertising partners may also observe activity across sites for ad measurement or interest-based advertising. That tracking happens on the partner’s systems, under the partner’s policy, rather than through a promise that this resource can control every outside cookie.

Who May Receive Information

Personal data is not sold by this resource. It may be available to the following parties when needed for the purposes described above.

  • Search partners that process terms entered into their widget.
  • Analytics providers that measure page use and technical performance.
  • Advertising networks and their service providers.
  • Law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order.

Security Practices

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for information handled here. No internet-connected system can be promised breach-proof, and no method can guarantee that data will remain secure in every circumstance. Visitors should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in a message.

Visitors Under 18

The resource is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, a parent or guardian may use the contact route to ask that it be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity checks, a visitor may ask about information held in connection with a direct message or request.

  • Request a copy of personal information held here.
  • Ask that an inaccurate detail be corrected.
  • Request deletion where retention is not required.
  • Ask to opt out of a particular processing activity when that choice is available.

Search terms sent directly to an outside provider must be handled through that provider. Requests concerning a government booking or court record belong with the originating agency.

Notice Changes

This policy may be revised when the service, vendors, or legal duties change. A new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised notice applies to future use.

Effective date: August 17, 2026.
